Host Kilmer Service Centers (HKSC) is an alliance between the world leader in travel dining and shopping (HMSHost) and a well-recognized Canadian company with extensive experience in building public infrastructure (Kilmer Van Nostrand). The partnership was selected in 2009 by the Province of Ontario to be the developer and operator of the ONroute travel and service centres along Ontario’s Highways 400 and 401. More than 500,000 people travel these routes daily and they are among the busiest highways in North America.

Ministry of Transportation, Ontario
The Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) is considered a leader in moving people and goods, safely, efficiently and sustainably. MTO has 23 service centres along Highway 401 from Windsor to the Quebec border and along Highway 400 north, just north of Toronto. Following a competitive procurement process, the Province of Ontario selected Host Kilmer Service Centres (HKSC) as the new service provider at the centres, 20 of which are under redevelopment.
