ONroute Welcomes Popeyes® to 10 Locations
World famous chicken now an option for Ontario travellers
TORONTO, ON — The chicken sandwich that famously “broke the Internet” in 2019 is now a roadside attraction across Ontario. ONroute is excited to announce its new partnership with Popeyes® at ten ONroute locations.
The restaurant renowned for Louisiana inspired fried chicken –highlighted by a chicken sandwich that generated enormous demand when it was first introduced in the US and continues to be a fan favourite – is open at ONroute plazas in King City, Port Hope, Cambridge North, Dutton, West Lorne, Barrie, Trenton North, Napanee and Odessa, with Innisfil set to open May 22.

In the summer of the Stay-Cay Va-Cay, it will be a welcome meal option for travellers along Highways400 and 401.”
