Since April 15 and through to Canada Day, July 1, we’re offering a free medium coffee/beverage to truck drivers at all 23 of our plazas. Our “Keep ON Trucking!” initiative is our small way of showing appreciation for truckers and their tireless efforts to maintain the provincial and national supply chain during COVID-19 and to keep Ontario moving.
We also recognize the critical role our trucking community will play in the coming weeks and months as Ontario re-starts its economy. The significance of truck drivers throughout the entire COVID-19 crisis is incredible, and on behalf of ONroute, we say thank you.
“Our full ONroute team has been honoured to step up and show our support for all the drivers who are keeping our province running with the goods and supplies we need,” said Melanie Teed-Murch, CEO. “We will continue to deliver the services the trucking and supply chain industries, and all who must travel across Ontario during this time, need right now.”
We launched our "Keep ON Trucking!” initiative in April and have seen an outpouring of support for truck drivers from Ontarians since day one. Premier Doug Ford and the Honourable Caroline Mulroney, Minister of Transportation, have acknowledged this initiative as they individually thanked truck drivers for their work throughout this pandemic.
ONroute is proud to support the essential services provided by so many truckers during this time and our hope is that this small token of appreciation demonstrates our gratitude for the many ways they have and continue to help our province and country during this challenging time.
